Non-surgical Rhinoplasty
Non-surgical
Rhinoplasty
The non-surgical rhinoplasty, or a liquid rhinoplasty, is as its name suggests, a non-surgical augmentation treatment used to shape and/or alter the appearance of a client’s nose with an injectable filler. This procedure is utilized to improve various visible issues such as lifting the tip of the nose, correcting contours and, more commonly, to smooth bumps or depressions that are visible on the nose bridge. This augmentation typically sees the use of hyaluronic acid fillers, including brands like Juvederm, Restylane and RADIESSE. One of the many benefits of a non-surgical ‘nose job’ over a surgical rhinoplasty is that it is a minimally invasive procedure, which therefore reduces the amount of time spent recovering. It is also much quicker in duration with little to no pain experienced. A surgical rhinoplasty, on the other hand, may take upwards of and possibly over a month of recovery time, not to mention being the more expensive option of the two.
Another upside of this procedure is that, due to its non-permanent nature, if the client is unsatisfied with the outcome, they only have to wait for a fairly short amount of time for the filler to be absorbed or, alternatively, have the treatment reversed altogether.

WHAT FILLERS ARE USED?
Hyaluronic Acid
HA, or Hyaluronic Acid, is a very popular dermal filler due to its ability to restore volume and increase dermal elasticity. The hyaluronic acid used for dermal fillers is generally comprised of cross-linked, non-animal derived hyaluronic acid gels. Such hyaluronic acid is deemed safe for non-surgical procedures due to being free of animal or human DNA. One of hyaluronic acid’s greatest assets when it comes to fillers is that its effects are reversible.
Also referred to as CaHA, is what FDA-approved filler RADIESSE is composed of. This filler provides a subdermal structure, able to help stimulate collagen production and leave the skin with an increased suppleness and volume, the latter making it a good candidate for a non-surgical rhinoplasty.
